Manteno Man Arrested on Weapon Charges

An employee of a Manteno pest control company has been arrested after his manager after found three guns in his work van, one of them a shotgun.    The employee was called in for a meeting Monday morning where he was met by his boss and police.   31 year old Joel R. Rodriquez has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon with a revoked FOID card.    Rodriquez tells police that he was just transporting the guns to his dad’s house.
