Mike has been in the radio business for over 40 years.  He has been a radio personality for WIVR and WVLI for the last 25 years.

 

Mike’s love for radio started when he was in high school.  He was bitten by the radio bug (and says ‘“there is no cure”) while he was doing reports, local news and sports for his classmates and community.  

 

He holds a degree from The Broadcast Center in Missouri.  Mike also taught radio studies at The Illinois Center for Broadcasting in Lombard, IL.

 

Mike is an active member of the Bradley Lions Club, the President of New Beginnings for Cats, serves on the Watseka and Rensselaer Chamber Board, the Kankakee River Conservancy Board, and is very active in the Bourbonnais, Iroquois County, and NW Indiana area.  Mike has added Business Development Executive to his professional resume for over a decade.  Mike enjoys being involved in local events and states, “local involvement is paramount for success”.  He cares about helping businesses grow in the local and surrounding areas.
