Foul play is not suspected in the death of an inmate at the Jerome Combs Detention Center in Kankakee today. The Kankakee County sheriff’s office says 37 year old Terrance D. Washington of Bourbonnais was found unresponsive shortly after noon. Staff medical personnel and Kankakee Fire Department EMT’s tried to resuscitate Washington, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is believed to be medical in nature. An official cause of death will await the outcome of an autopsy.
