Gas prices across Illinois continue their downhill slide. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas in the Land of Lincoln is four-dollars-55 cents, down four cents since yesterday and down 21 cents in the past week. The average cost for a gallon of gas in Kankakee County is running 4.15, down a penny from yesterday and 26 cents lower than a week ago. Triple-A says gas in Iroquois County is averaging 4.16, it’s 4.44 in Ford County and 4.47 in Livingston County.
Across the state line in Indiana, gas is running 4.08 in Newton County, four-dollars even in Benton County and 4.30 in Jasper County. The average cost for a gallon of gas is 4.09 in the Hoosier State.
