Andrade takes plea deal in 2021 killing outside Kankakee courthouse

24 year old Miguel Andrade who shot and killed a man who minutes earlier had shot and killed his cousin and wounded another man outside the Kankakee County Courthouse in 2021, took a plea deal Monday.  Andrade pleaded guilty to reckless discharge of a firearm in the death of Antonio Hernandez on what was to be the first day of his bench trial.  The Daily Journal reports that Andrade was then essentially sentenced to time served and released.
