Asia announced their Heat of The Moment headlining tour. Named for the biggest selling album of 1982, Heat Of The Moment was also #1 on Billboard for nine weeks.
Asia’s co-founder and lead singer, John Wetton passed away in 2017 and when asked about him, original and current keyboard player, Geoffrey Downes said: “I am convinced that John’s spirit is with us as we set out on this new adventure. After all, it is the Year Of The Dragon. Just as it was in 1982, when we released our first Asia album. It’s as though it was meant to be.”
The 21-date tour kicks off July 3 in Ridgefield, Connecticut and makes stops in Atlantic City, Orlando, Tampa, and Nashville. The U.S. leg will wrap July 31 in Milwaukee.
