LaSalle chemical business burns

An investigation is underway following a massive fire at the Carus Chemical building in LaSalle, Illinois.  The blaze broke out yesterday morning, gutting the plant.  One firefighter suffered minor injuries and residents living nearby were temporarily asked to shelter in place.  The Environmental Protection Agency is conducting air monitoring in the area.
