Police arrest suspected drug dealer in Kankakee

City police arrested a suspected drug dealer early Monday morning after officers spotted the man in the 300 block of N. Dearborn.  Officers say 33 year old Marlan Johnson refused to stop when told to and led officers on a foot chase tossing a baggie along the way that later turned out to contain cocaine.  He was arrested after running into a bar in the 400 block of North Schuyler.  A subsequent search of Johnson turned up more cocaine on his person.  Johnson is facing multiple charges.
