Kankakee City Police make gun arrest

Kankakee City Police report a traffic stop Friday morning ended with a gun arrest. According to reports, it was just before 10:30 Friday morning when city police stopped a car driven by Deondre C. Sanders for a traffic violation. Reports say while talking with Sanders, he allegedly admitted he was carrying a firearm without a valid concealed carry license. A search of Sanders reportedly turned up the gun and extra ammunition. Sanders arrested by City Police on weapons violations.
