Paxton man stabbed while trying to break up fight

A  man from the Paxton area was stabbed in the back multiple times Friday night at a party in Champaign County.  The 19 year old was stabbed as he tried to break up a fight between a 17 year old boy and a 15 year old girl.  County deputies allege the 17 year old stabbed the 19 year old  three times in the back. The wounds are not life threatening.  The 17 year old was arrested for aggravated battery with a knife.  All three are from the Paxton area.
