Tomorrow is election day, among the ballot decisions to be made, those in the Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School District are being asked if the School should be able to sell 62-million-dollars in bonds to help fund 70-million-dollars of improvements to the school. BESD 307 Superintendent Matt Vosberg says the money would be used to add additions to the building.
Superintendent Vosberg says the plan would be to consolidate PE spaces in a fieldhouse setting and turn those current spaces into classrooms. And what would the referendum cost local tax payers?
Vosberg adds you can go to their website and put in your home’s value to find out what the increase would mean to you. He points out to build a new building and move from their current location would cost in the neighborhood of 170-million-dollars.
