Members of C Shift on the Kankakee Fire Department along with a telecommunicator from KanComm were recognized at Monday night’s City Council meeting for the swift rescue of a family caught in a house fire back in December. Fire Chief Bryan LaRoche.
C shift rescued the family, put out the fire, and cleared all searches of the home in less than ten minutes. The fire took place December 29th in the 1300 block of South Kensington Avenue.
