The National Weather Service confirmed late last week that a third tornado touched down in Iroquois county during the April 17th storms. On Friday, the Weather Service notified Iroquois County Emergency Management that after further review of previous data and damage assessments, it was determined the damage that was sustained from Woodland northeast to Watseka was from an EF-0 tornado. The weather service says damage from the storm in Watseka is still being evaluated, but right now is classified as having come from straight line winds and not a tornado.
