Hoosier gas prices lowest in the nation

Hoosier gas prices are the lowest in the entire United States.  Triple-A says the statewide average price is currently three-dollars-81-cents a gallon, well below the national average of four-dollars-42-cents and the Illinois average of four-dollars-86 cents a gallon.  Indiana Governor Mike Braun has suspended Indiana’s gas and excise tax, saving drivers nearly 60-cents a gallon.  He says the state can afford the tax holiday even though the taxes fund the Indiana infrastructure budget.  The taxes are suspended through June 7th.
