The Bourbonnais Village Board last night passed an ordinance establishing a temporary moratorium on any data centers being allowed in the Village. Village Attorney Patrick Dunn says the moratorium will give the village time to develop standards to help control that type of land usage in the Village. The moratorium is in effect until January 31st 2027.
