Riverside Healthcare Receives LGBTQ+ Designation

Riverside Healthcare has been named an “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer”. According to a press release, the Healthcare Equality Index recognized Riverside with this national honor for 2026. HEI is regarded as the national benchmarking tool for evaluating LGBTQ+ inclusion and equity practices in healthcare organizations. Participating organizations are evaluated on criteria including non-discrimination policies, staff training, patient services, and support, employee benefits, patient and community engagement, and responsible citizenship. Riverside was one of only fifty-three participants nationwide to improve its designation this year, advancing from the Healthcare Equality Builder category to Healthcare Equality High Performer.
