This Sunday’s Bourbonnais Friendship Festival Grand Parade will feature a sensory zone for the first time. Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe, who is one of this year’s parade announcers, talked about the new feature on a recent episode of the Kankakee Valley Community Happenings podcast with Denny Case.
The sensory zone will be located on University Avenue in front of Olivet’s Ludwig Center. The Bourbonnais Friendship Festival Grand Parade kicks off at one this Sunday afternoon.
