Jasper County Indiana Crash Sends Four People to the Hospital

Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Police report that four people were sent to the hospital after a two vehicle crash Sunday in Remington. According to a press release, deputies were called to the wreck just before 12:30 Sunday afternoon at US Highway 231 and I-65, near the southbound off ramp in Remington. 21-year-old Jawad Khan of Volo, Illinois was driving a 2009 Toyota Sienna Minivan, along with two passengers, when he failed to stop at a stop sign coming off I-65 onto US Highway 231. Khan’s minivan collided with the driver’s side of a 2014 Ford F-150 driven by 62-year-old Denny Taylor of Remington, along with his two dogs. Taylor, Kahn and his two passengers were all sent to the hospital with significant injuries. One person had to be airlifted to a trauma center in Indianapolis. The two dogs were released to family members.
