Bradley man killed while walking near Kennedy Drive and Broadway

Bradley Police report the arrest of a Saint Anne woman after she allegedly struck and killed a Bradley man with her car Friday night. According to reports, It was just after ten Friday night when officers were called to Kennedy Drive and Broadway Street for a crash that involved a car and a pedestrian. Despite life saving efforts, the pedestrian later died at a local hospital. Kankakee County Coroner has identified the man as 63-year-old James T. Crawford. The driver of the car that allegedly hit Crawford while he was crossing the street has been identified as 42-year-old Dianne Dansby-Draine of Saint Anne. Police say witnesses allegedly saw Draine using her cell phone during the crash. Draine has been charged with reckless homicide among other charges.
