The United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois Counties announced its annual celebration will take place Thursday, September 24th at Deer Ridge Barn in Kankakee. Executive Director Mariah Vail with more.
Vail says this year United Way supported twenty-two programs in the area with around $248,000 in funding and over $600,000 was raised through the Emergency Response Fund following the March 10th tornado. You can visit myunitedway.org for tickets to the annual celebration.
