For the first time in several months, there were no fireworks at Monday night’s Manteno Village Board Meeting. In fact, Trustee Joel Gesky gave compliments to Mayor Annette LaMore, despite the many times he and two other trustees have clashed with her on several issues.
Mayor LaMore also apologized for her negative behavior towards a group of middle school students and their teacher who had volunteered to help clean up after Oktoberfest last week.
