Contest Rules

“Mystery Location Prize Giveaway – Official Rules (Winner Determination)”

The Station will announce clues leading to a “Mystery Location” during the Promotion Period. The first eligible participant to physically arrive at the designated Mystery Location and correctly identify themselves to Station representatives as a contest participant will be declared the potential winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

To claim the prize, participants must:

  • Be the first to arrive in person at the Mystery Location. 
  • Check in with designated Station staff or representatives; 
  • Provide any required identification and information upon request. 

The winner will be determined based on the order of arrival as verified by Station representatives at the location. The Station’s determination of arrival order and winner eligibility is final and binding in all respects.

In the event of a dispute regarding arrival time or identity, the decision of the Station, in its sole discretion, shall be final.

If no eligible participant arrives within 20 minutes after the clue is aired on WVLI 92.7fm, the Station reserves the right to modify, extend, or cancel the contest. 

Only one (1) prize will be awarded. Limit one (1) winner per household.

Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

1. Safety / Liability

Participants are solely responsible for their own safety and transportation. The Station does not encourage speeding, unsafe behavior, or violation of any laws.

2. Public vs Private Property

The Mystery Location will be a publicly accessible area. Participants must not trespass or enter restricted/private property.

3. Tie / Simultaneous Arrival

In the event multiple participants arrive at substantially the same time, the Station reserves the right to conduct a tie-breaker (e.g., trivia question, random drawing, etc.) to determine the winner.

4. Staff Verification Control

Arrival must be verified by station staff only—not timestamps, photos, or third-party claims.
