Will County Coroners Office investigate discovered body

The Will County Coroner’s office is looking into the discovery or human remains found about a week ago in Joliet Township. In a press release, Coroner Laurie Summers office says Will County Sheriff’s Police along with the Coroner’s Office Cold Case Square are looking into the case. The remains are being taken to the UofI for further study to determine the age and sex of the victim. The Will County Coroner’s office says anyone with a missing loved one should contact local Law Enforcement to give a DNA sample for later comparison.
