Weekend Bedroom Fire Injuries One

There was a bedroom fire over the weekend at a home in the 900 block of Flamingo in Kankakee.  Kankakee fire saying the home’s occupant suffered burns while trying to extinguish the fire themselves until firefighters arrived and was then hospitalized.  There were no other injuries reported, damage estimates and a cause were not released.
