First Baby of the Year in Kankakee County Identified

We had to wait a couple of days before the arrival of Kankakee County’s first baby of the New Year but the stork made a stop at Ascension Saint Mary’s at 6:05 in the morning on January 2nd to deliver a baby boy. Krew Donald Mabbitt of Sheldon weighed in at 8 pounds 9 ounces at 21 inches.  Mom and Baby doing fine.  Krew is the son of Donnie and Kinsey Mabbitt.  There’s still no word on the first baby to arrive at Riverside Medical Center.
