Victims identified in Watseka shooting

Illinois State police have now identified the victims of Thursday’s double fatal shooting in Watseka.  38 year old Joseph Robinson and 42 year old Amanda Peterson were found dead in a home in the 300 block of West North Street a 21 year old man was also struck with gunfire, and is hospitalized.  His condition has not been released.   Police say the suspected shooter, 44 year old Scott E. Peterson of Kankakee, was arrested immediately following the shooting.  Scott Peterson is being charged with 2 counts of first degree murder and is awaiting a bond hearing.
