Retired Manhattan Police Chief Jeff Wold returns to position

Recently retired Manhattan Police Chief Jeff Wold has decided that he wasn’t ready for retirement after all.  Wold stepped down as Police Chief in June and says after a few months off spending time with family he found he missed working with the officers and staff.  Wold called the Mayor and asked to return to the position.  The Village was still in the process of finding his replacement so they agreed.  Wold was sworn on Tuesday.
