More Details About Harris Trial Delay

The trial of accused murderer Xandria Harris will not be held at this time. Everyone involved in the case was at the courthouse yesterday for the seating of five alternate jurors when prosecution and defense lawyers and Judge Kathy Bradshaw-Elliot went to her chambers for about an hour and a half. According to the Daily Journal, when they returned to the courtroom, the jurors were dismissed and a March 9th hearing date was set. The trial date was set for August 17th. Harris is accused in the December 2021 murder of Bradley Police Sergeant Marlene Rittmanic and wounding of her partner officer Tyler Bailey. Harris’ then boyfriend Darius Sullivan was found guilty for his part in the murders last year and sentenced to life behind bars.
