Kankakee man caught with allegedly stolen cars

The Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force reports an arrest. According to reports, 53-year-old Paul G Culp was arrested Monday, the result of a search conducted at his business in the 700 block of West Jeffery in Kankakee. Culp taken to the Jerome Combs Detention center on three counts of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and one count of aggravated possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Culp is accused of accepting cars for repairs, then selling them without the owners knowledge or permission.
