Crash kills motorcyclist

A motorcyclist is dead following a crash near St. Anne Tuesday night. Illinois State Police say the crash happened on Route 1 near four-thousand South Road about 7:30 Tuesday night and involved a motorcycle and an SUV. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner identified the cyclist as 48-year-old Charles Allan Wickens of St. Anne. Gessner says Wickens died at the scene of the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
