During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Criminal Justice Committee, 21st Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Bill Dickenson gave the committee an update on plans underway to accommodate Courthouse renovations expected to start in September
Two court rooms will be closed during the renovations. Dickenson added the State is asking residents to take a survey about ways the courts can better serve residents
The upcoming renovations to the Courthouse are expected to take a little over a year and cose some six-million-dollars.
