Sheriff’s department seeks information about motorcyclist

The Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police are looking for a motorcyclist that may have been traveling with another cyclist just before a fatal crash on Wednesday. On their Facebook page, the Sheriff’s Department has posted a photo of the cyclist they say, investigators have determined was riding with 46-year-old Everett S. Wengstrom of Peotone just before he hit a cement barrier at the intersection of six-thousand-North and three-thousand West roads near Manteno. Wengstrom died of injuries he sustained in the crash. Deputies ask anyone that recognizes the motorcyclist call their office or Crime Stoppers.
