Train hits semi in St. Anne

St. Anne Police report a train hit a semi in the Village Friday. According to reports, it happened when a semi stalled on the tracks at the Guertin Street crossing. The driver of the semi was able to get out before the train hit it and there were injuries reported, but the crossing had to be closed for about five hours while the wreckage was cleared.
