At Wednesday morning’s Executive Committee Meeting of the Kankakee County Board, Veterans Assistance Commission Superintendent Eric Peterson gave an update on the homeless veterans in our area.
Peterson added he has a bi-weekly phone call with Hines Hospital and Midwest Shelters to keep track of the homeless veterans in Kankakee County.
